Diljit Dosanjh bows in respect, honours construction workers at Birmingham show
Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh turned a Birmingham concert into a heartwarming moment when he stopped his performance to honour two construction workers who had arrived at the show straight after completing their long shift. Dosanjh invited the two fans onto the stage during his Aura World Tour stop at Utilita Arena Birmingham on Friday, September 18.
The two workers had come directly to the concert after finishing work. Diljit invited them to the stage and acknowledged their effort to make it to his show despite their demanding workday. He even bowed down in respect, while thanking them for buying the concert tickets with their hard-earned money.
He later gave his autograph on their sweatshirts and even gifted them something special as a token of love before sending them off stage with a selfie.
The singerβs gesture quickly became one of the memorable moments from the Birmingham concert, as he took a moment away from his performance to appreciate the two fans for making the effort to attend.
Diljit is currently on his Aura World Tour, which brought him to Birmingham on September 18. The UK leg follows his historic Wembley Stadium concert in London on September 12, where he became the first Punjabi artist to headline the iconic venue. He is next scheduled to perform at Co-op Live in Manchester on September 20.- EndsPublished By: Prachi aryaPublished On: Sep 19, 2026 12:48 ISTALSO READ | Diljit creates history with 92,000 fans at Wembley; beats Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift
