DRDL director calls for stronger research partnerships with CSIR-IICT

Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL) director Ankathi Raj has underscored the strategic importance of collaboration between DRDL and the CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), in advancing indigenous technology development.
Speaking at the 85th Foundation Day celebrations of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in Hyderabad, Mr. Raj highlighted the need for greater synergy between research institutions to accelerate innovation and strengthen the country’s technological capabilities.
CSIR-IICT director D. Srinivasa Reddy said that achieving the vision of a developed India requires sustained scientific excellence, purposeful innovation, and a strong sense of responsibility towards the nation. He called upon researchers and employees to continue contributing to scientific advancement and societal development through impactful research and technology-driven solutions.
As part of the celebrations, staff members who had completed 25 years of service were honoured, said a press release on Monday.
