DSK Group raises awareness of gender-based violence (GBV) at high tea - IOL

The DSK (Daniella Simone Keisha) Group held a gender-based violence high tea on Friday at the Mount Edgecombe Conference Centre. The group's humanitarian work focuses on rescuing and supporting victims of abuse, providing relief and rehabilitation for those who have suffered trauma, including abuse, rape, abandonment, and neglect.

At the event, the organisation launched the 'Springing Forward To Safety'  campaign where guests were asked to turn a piece of fabric into something meaningful for women and children affected by GBV - like clothing or bedding.

DSK also launched the 'Pink Towel' campaign where every person is reminded that they have the power to make a difference. By donating a pink towel, it could become a symbol of comfort, dignity, protection and hope for women and children affected by GBV.
