Edala Development unveils advisory board, targets sustainable real estate growth - The Guardian Nigeria News
Edala Development has unveiled its newly constituted Advisory Board as part of efforts to strengthen corporate governance, deepen investor confidence and support the company’s expansion in Nigeria’s real estate market. The board was unveiled at the company’s Investor Summit, themed “From Vision to Value,” which brought together investors, industry professionals, business partners and other stakeholders to examine investment opportunities and emerging trends in the real estate sector.
The development is expected to provide the company with additional strategic guidance as it expands its portfolio across the residential, hospitality and commercial real estate segments. The newly appointed Advisory Board comprises professionals with experience spanning investment, finance, business development, strategy and academia.
The members include Gbenga Ademulegun, who brings investment and strategic business experience to the board; Olalekan Awosanya, whose expertise covers leadership, business development and strategic partnerships; and Professor Joseph Ezigbo, who contributes academic and professional perspectives in decision-making, innovation and sustainable development. The company said the establishment of the board reflects its focus on building a stronger institutional structure to support long-term growth.
According to Edala Development, the Advisory Board will provide strategic guidance on key business decisions, investor relations, and expansion initiatives, while supporting the company’s objective of developing a more structured real estate investment platform. The summit also provided an opportunity for investors and stakeholders to receive updates on the company’s growth strategy, pipeline of projects, and opportunities arising from developments in Nigeria’s real estate market.
Edala Development said it has continued to expand its presence through projects in Lagos and Ibadan, with plans to increase its portfolio and broaden access to real estate investment opportunities. The company’s leadership said the focus would remain on creating long-term value for investors while responding to demand across different segments of the property market. The unveiling of the Advisory Board comes as real estate companies increasingly seek stronger governance and investment structures to attract capital and sustain expansion in Nigeria’s property market.
