Edith Regalado, STAR’s Davao scribe, writes 30
DAVAO CITY, Philippines — Longtime STAR reporter Maria Editha Requina Regalado passed away on Sept. 9 at the age of 63 after a long health battle.
As in everything she did throughout her life, she faced her health problems with strength and grace.
She is survived by her children, Frances Hera and Joseph Noah, and her grandchildren, Kassandra Andrea, Joshua David Juat and Maria.
She was many things to many people: a beloved mother, a doting grandmother, a caring friend, a trusted colleague, a mentor and a pillar of the media community in Davao City.
She was a regular reporter for The Philippine STAR from January 2000 to March 2023, after which she became a correspondent.
