Escaped Tennessee inmate Jacob Morley captured - USA Today

Authorities in Tennessee on Nov. 3 announced escaped inmate escaped inmate Jacob Allen Morley had been captured.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation did not release additional information about his arrest or say where he was captured, but said additional information would be released soon.

Morley, 28, had been on the lam since Oct. 25 after authorities said he escaped from a Tennessee prison and stole a truck, which was later found abandoned in another state.

Morley was serving a life sentence for first-degree murder.

He slipped away from the Northwest Correctional Complex in Lake County, Tennessee, the Tennessee Department of Correction said. Surveillance video showed he "breached the perimeter fence and exited the facility in his TDOC uniform," according to the department.
