Farzi 2 shoot mostly done: Actor Bhuvan Arora teases a bigger season

Actor Bhuvan Arora has shared a fresh update on Farzi Season 2, revealing that a major part of the shoot from his end has already been completed. The actor also teased that the upcoming season will be bigger in scale, with more madness in store. In an exclusive conversation with India Today, the actor said he is very excited about returning to the series.

“I’m very excited about Farzi Season 2. We’re mostly done with the shoot, at least with our portions. It’s bigger, better and grander, and the madness will obviously increase. I feel lucky to be a part of the project,” he said.

Bhuvan, however, stopped short of revealing more about the series, joking that there would be another time to speak about Farzi in detail.

The 39-year-old actor also opened up about Dupahiya Season 2 and whether he had anticipated the response the show would receive. Bhuvan said he had a positive feeling about the project from the very beginning.

“I knew it from day one. Especially after meeting Sonam (Nair), the vibe of the show was different. I feel that whenever, as a creative person or an actor, you pick a show, you should know whether you are able to connect with it or not. If you are able to connect, I think 80 per cent of it is already right,” he said.

He added that while every project ultimately has its own journey, he was confident that Dupahiya would connect with audiences.

“Every show has its own destiny, but I was very positive. I had this affirmative feeling that people would love the show,” Bhuvan added.

Drawing a parallel between his two projects, Bhuvan said both are getting bigger with their new seasons. “Just like Dupahiya, I feel lucky to be a part of both,” he said.

Farzi, created by Raj and DK, featured Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, Kay Kay Menon, Raashii Khanna and Bhuvan Arora in key roles. Bhuvan played Firoz, Sunny’s close friend and partner in the counterfeit currency operation.

Meanwhile, Duphaiya is currently streaming on Prime Video.- EndsALSO READ | Shahid Kapoor to begin shoot for his untitled action thriller. Details | Exclusive
