The incident took place on Tuesday evening. The victims comprised two brothers aged 13 and their 12-year-old friend.

According to information, as the three swam in the Medho River, they suddenly entered deep water and began struggling after being caught in the strong current.

The two friends who were standing outside tried to rescue them but were unable to do so. They then ran back to the village, raising an alarm.

Hearing their cries, locals rushed to the river and informed the authorities. A police team reached the spot and divers were called in to search for the missing children.
