Five-year-old missing after falling into Eluru Canal

A five-year-old boy, Ch. Satya Koushik, has been reported missing after he accidentally fell into the Eluru Canal on Sunday.

The boy and his mother, Dhanalakshmi, reportedly came to the canal near Yagarlapalli flyover to wash clothes. While she was washing the clothes, Koushik, who was playing alongside her, accidently fell into the waters.

A few youth immediately jumped into the waters to save the child, but it was in vain. Fire Services personnel are searching for the boy.
