Former Colts' wide receiver lands with NFC team - Colts Wire
Former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Coleman Owen has landed with a new team.
Owen is now a member of the Green Bay Packers' practice squad.
Owen went undrafted in 2025 out of Ohio and signed with the Colts. He then spent last season on the practice squad, although he was elevated for two games to contribute as a returner.
In Weeks 15 and 16, Owen handled kick and punt return duties, averaging 28.2 yards per kick return on five attempts. He had one punt return attempt for two yards and two fair catches, according to PFF.
The Colts waived-injured (concussion) Owen during training camp this summer.
Owen's presence on the roster gave the Colts another option in the return game, and he filled the slot receiver role on offense.
In six preseason games, Owen caught 17 passes for 192 yards and a touchdown.
