The State government has deputed a 40-member delegation of teachers, lecturers and education officials to Singapore from September 12 to 19, under the educational exchange programme. The programme is being organised in collaboration with the National Institute of Education (NIE), Singapore.
The delegation includes secondary grade teachers, school assistants, gazetted headmasters, mandal and district educational officers and Intermediate education officials. The participants will attend academic sessions, workshops and interactive programmes and visit educational institutions to study learner-centred pedagogy, curriculum implementation, inclusive education, assessment, teacher professional development and digital technology integration.
The visit, officials believe, is expected to help educators adapt relevant international practices to Telangana’s education system and strengthen classroom teaching and student learning outcomes.
