Four Indonesian Game Developers Win SEA Game Awards

KOMPAS.com – Four Indonesian game studios won five out of 10 categories at the 2021 Southeast Asia (SEA) Game Awards last week.

KOMPAS.com – Four Indonesian game studios won five out of 10 categories at the 2021 Southeast Asia (SEA) Game Awards last week.

One of the country’s game developers, Toge Productions, bagged the most prestigious award namely “Grand Jury” for their game Coffee Talk under a visual novel genre released in January 2020 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. In this game, players will act as baristas in a café who must serve customers and handle their complaints.

Another game developer, Tahoe Games, won two categories namely “Best Game Design” and “Best Audio” for their game Rising Hell, which was released in October 2019 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Bali-based game studio Devata Games Production won the Best Technology award for their game Biwar: Legend of Dragon Slayer.

Meanwhile, game developer Mojiken Studio was awarded “Best Visual Art” for their game When The Past Was Around.
