The Vanderbijlpark Magistrates Court has granted Emfuleni contractor Mpho Malema R30,000 bail.
Malema is facing fraud-related charges over a controversial fleet tender awarded to his company, Maboela Forestry and Construction, in 2022.
The 40-year-old was arrested by the Gauteng Political Killings Task Team earlier this month, a team that is also investigating the murder of whistleblower and municipal employee Martha Rantsofu.
