Fred has officially bid farewell to Fenerbahçe after spending three seasons with the Turkish club before recently completing his move to Atlético Mineiro in Brazil.

Before leaving Istanbul, the Brazilian midfielder visited Fenerbahçe's Can Bartu Training Facilities, where he met head coach İsmail Kartal, his teammates, coaching staff and club employees.

Fred later visited the club's headquarters, where he said goodbye to Fenerbahçe president Aziz Yıldırım and members of the board.

Yıldırım thanked Fred for his three years with the club and told him that he would always remain part of the Fenerbahçe family.

"Never lose your connection with Fenerbahçe. You are now part of this family and you always will be. I wish you all the best in the next chapter of your life and career," Yıldırım said.

Fred said his time in Istanbul had been among the most special periods of his life and that he would continue to maintain his connection with the club.

"We spent the three best years of our lives at Fenerbahçe. We made so many wonderful memories here. Fenerbahçe will always be among the best memories of my football career. I am proud to have been part of this family," Fred said.

The midfielder also expressed his belief that Fenerbahçe would win the league title this season and promised to return to Istanbul for the celebrations.

As part of the farewell, Yıldırım presented Fred with a Fenerbahçe shirt bearing the number 7 and a gift. Fred then posed for photographs before stepping onto the pitch at Chobani Stadium with his family for the final time.
