Free 20-day civil defence training in Visakhapatnam

Applications have been invited from citizens aged 18 to 45 for a 20-day part-time free training programme for Civil Defence volunteers.

The Civil Defence Organisation in Shantipuram near Gurudwara Junction is conducting the programme under the directions of the Director-General, State Disaster Response and Fire Services, Andhra Pradesh.

Training will cover first aid, rescue and firefighting, warden services and communication.

Classes will be held from 7.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. and participants will receive certificates. Applicants should submit copies of their SSC marks memo and Aadhaar card and apply online through the Civil Defence Volunteers Portal at cdvolunteers.gov.in.
