Girl killed as car hits rickshaw

A nine-year-old girl was killed and a woman sustained minor injuries when a car collided with a rickshaw near Tariq Road. The rickshaw driver remained unhurt. Police arrested the driver responsible for the accident and seized the vehicle. The incident occurred near Tariq Road in PECHS Block 2, within the jurisdiction of Ferozabad police station, when a white car collided with a rickshaw carrying the victims. Chhipa volunteers shifted the injured girl to Jinnah Hospital in critical condition. Ferozabad SHO Adeel Afzal said the girl succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment. She was identified as nine-year-old Jannat, daughter of Bashir. Police arrested the driver, identified as Musa, and took the car into custody. According to preliminary information, Musa worked as a building and vehicle cleaner in the area.
