Government issues alert for Android users, asks them to update phones ASAP

According to the team, these vulnerabilities are spread across several Android components, including Android Runtime, DocumentsUI, MediaTek Framework, Media Codecs, MediaProvider, Telephony, UWB and Wi-Fi.
Some of these flaws could allow attackers to execute arbitrary code, gain higher system privileges, access sensitive information or cause denial-of-service conditions.
In simple terms, these vulnerabilities could give remote hackers a way to gain access to parts of an Android phone that they normally should not be able to reach. Depending on the vulnerability and how it is exploited, this could potentially put personal information stored on the device at risk.
