Harlene Bautista and Federico Moreno are another case of right love at the right time.
On "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Thursday, the couple shared how their love story began.
According to Federico, his school was near Harleneβs home in Cubao, Quezon City, but nothing developed between them until years later.
Federico recalled they both came from reunions and saw each other at a bar in Quezon City afterward.
Federico and Harleneβs older brother, Hero, were batchmates, and she stayed at the bar because she needed a ride home.
βIt was 2 a.m. I think I said, I donβt want to be surrounded by drunk men I do not know,β Harlene said in Filipino.
βWhen he arrived, I said, come, sit next to me, so that someone will guard me,β she added. βThe very first time that we talked like this.β
Soon after, Federico called Hero to ask about Harlene.
βWhat keeps her busy? I was asking because we would meet, but we were not really close,β Federico said.βSo Iβd always ask about her to Hero and I also asked permission from Hero."
The couple also told Tito Boy that they had discussed getting married.
βI promise to take care of her. I promise to take care of all our children, our family, and just to continue to love her every day, 100% love,β Federico said.
βI feel that, I see that, and I appreciate it,β Harlene said. βI say, when we get old, itβll only be us that will be together, and he is the one I want to be with,β she added.
Harlene was previously married to actor Romnick Sarmenta, while Federico was previously married to Sheila Magdayao.
