Helen Zille | EWN Elections - EWN

Helen Zille is the Democratic Alliance’s (DA) Johannesburg mayoral candidate, bringing heavyweight experience as a former Cape Town mayor, former Western Cape premier and current DA federal council chairperson.

Zille is pitching herself as the experienced fix-it candidate, the gogo who says she can get Joburg working again.

Her campaign is focused on water cuts, power cuts, potholes, billing chaos, crime and collapsing infrastructure.

Helen Zille says Joburg does not need another experiment, it needs someone who has run a big city before.

Former Cape Town mayor and Western Cape premier; DA federal council chairperson.

Whoever becomes mayor inherits a city of millions, a massive service-delivery machine and a budget running into tens of billions of rand.
