High school football teams with longest win streaks in each state - USA Today
We've hit the midway point of the high school football regular season for many teams around the country and for every team — no matter the location — their goal at this point in the year is to have a zero in the loss column.
That's easier said than done though. However, there are some teams in each state that have had the fortune of staying unbeaten so far and, for a select few, that unbeaten streak has gone on even further.
What is the longest active winning streaks for every state? USA TODAY Sports dove deep into each state and find the schools with the longest 11-man winning streaks for all 50 states.

While Oscar Smith has not lost since its season-opener last season, the Tigers saw their Week 2 showdown with Varina (VA) end in a 7-7 tie due to weather.
Now there are more than 15 schools in the state that can claim that they have the state's longest winning streak at four games to start the season.
