Honda Cars India has launched the updated Elevate in India, with prices starting at Rs 11.80 lakh (ex-showroom). Introduced in 2023, the mid-size SUV receives its first major update with revised exterior styling, a more feature-rich cabin and additional convenience features. Bookings for the updated SUV opened on October 1.

India is the first market globally to receive the updated Elevate. The facelift retains the existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, with both 6-speed manual and CVT automatic gearbox options. At the front, it gets a new bold mesh grille with gloss-black upper moulding and lower garnish. Honda has also repositioned the 'H' badge, while the LED position lights have been redesigned into a three-bar signature.The front and rear bumpers receive gloss-black treatment, along with the side and fender garnishes.

The SUV also gets updated roof rails and newly finished 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels with a Berlina Black and dark clear finish.

At the rear, the biggest change is the addition of a full-width connected LED tail-lamp, giving the SUV a wider visual appearance. The overall dimensions remain unchanged, with the Elevate measuring 4,312mm in length, 1,790mm in width and 1,650mm in height. It has a 2,650mm wheelbase and 220mm of ground clearance.

Honda has also introduced a new Nordic Forest Pearl exterior colour. The Elevate is now available in seven colour options, including Nordic Forest Pearl, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Meteoroid Grey Metallic and Crystal Black Pearl. Radiant Red Metallic and Platinum White Pearl are also available with a Crystal Black Pearl roof, while Nordic Forest Pearl gets a dual-tone option as well.Honda Elevate facelift interior and features

The cabin gets a more substantial upgrade, with Honda adding several features that were previously unavailable or offered only as accessories. The updated Elevate gets a new dual-tone Ivory-Black cabin with soft-touch surfaces, gloss-black elements, premium leather upholstery and new interior trim.

One of the key additions is ventilated seating for both the front and rear. Honda claims rear-seat ventilation is a first-in-segment feature. The front seats are also power-adjustable, with eight-way adjustment for the driver and four-way adjustment for the front passenger.

The cabin gets wrap-around ambient lighting with an Active Orange theme, electrostatic-touch LED cabin lighting and an illuminated passenger-side vanity mirror. The updated SUV also gets a one-touch electric sunroof.

Another major addition is a factory-fitted 360-degree Surround Vision Camera with multi-view functionality. The system is complemented by front and rear parking sensors and a multi-angle rear-view camera.

The Elevate facelift gets a 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, USB connectivity and WebLink. It also gets a 7-inch full-colour TFT multi-information display, front and rear USB Type-C ports and an eight-speaker premium surround sound system.Honda has also added a PM2.5 air-quality display with an auto-clean air function. The updated Elevate continues with Honda's 1.5-litre i-VTEC naturally aspirated petrol engine. The four-cylinder engine produces 121bhp at 6,600rpm and 145Nm of torque at 4,300rpm.

It is available with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic with seven-speed paddle-shift functionality. Honda claims fuel efficiency of 15.31kmpl for the manual version and 16.61kmpl for the CVT.Honda Elevate facelift variants and warranty

The updated Elevate is available in five variants with the manual gearbox — SV, V, VX, ZX and ZX+ — while the CVT can be had in V, VX, ZX and ZX+ trims.Honda is offering the Elevate with a three-year/unlimited-kilometre standard warranty. Customers can extend the warranty up to seven years/unlimited kilometres, while the company's Anytime Warranty can be extended up to 10 years or 1,20,000km.The facelift is the third of six key launches Honda Cars India has planned for the financial year. With the updated Elevate, Honda is looking to strengthen its presence in the mid-size SUV segment with more equipment while retaining the existing powertrain and underlying mechanical package.
