Broderick Jones is no longer a Pittsburgh Steeler, as he was traded from the Steel City brand of football to the Dallas Cowboys several weeks ago. He made his Cowboys debut in Week 1 of the 2026 season, but it wasn't exactly spectacular.

Here's a look at Jones' Week 1 performance, including his snap count, as well as what fans can expect from the former Steelers offensive tackle for the rest of the 2026 season.

Per Pro Football Reference, Jones didn't play any snaps on offense for the Cowboys. Instead, Jones appeared in just three special teams snaps. Considering that Jones was expected serve as the team's top backup offensive tackle, this comes as no surprise. And considering his struggles as a pass blocker, the Dak Prescott would've had a lot more green on his jersey if Jones did play more snaps on offense.

Considering that Dallas already has two capable starting offensive tackles in Tyler Guyton and Terence Steele, Jones will more than likely see most of his playing time come at special teams, with occasional offensive snaps sprinkled if either starter misses time.
