While Taylor Swift has not publicly confirmed whether she will attend the 2026 VMAs, there are several reasons to expect her presence. Swift will also debut the music video for her new song, "Patient Zero," during Sunday nightβs ceremony, giving her another connection to the event even if she does not appear in person.
Still, her plans could depend in part on husband Travis Kelce's NFL schedule. The Kansas City Chiefs are scheduled to face the Miami Dolphins at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, Sept. 27, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla.
