Hyderabad-based Software engineer drowns in Sokileru stream, five colleagues rescued

A 26-year-old software engineer, native of Vijayawada city, drowned in the Sokileru stream near Chintoor in Polavaram district on Tuesday, while bathing with five of his colleagues. The five others were rescued.
The deceased was identified as Kosuri Nilesh. His body was retrieved on Tuesday evening during a joint search operation by the police and Forest Department personnel.
The group of six Hyderabad-based software engineers had visited the Araku Valley before arriving at Maredumilli area on Tuesday.
he Chintoor police recovered the body and sent it to the Government hospital in Chintoor for post-mortem. A case was registered and investigation is on.
