I take full responsibility, Keivo speaks after BBNaija disqualification - Punch Newspapers
A former Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Victor Ikpe, popularly known as Keivo, has broken his silence after his disqualification from the reality show, taking full responsibility for the physical confrontation that ended his journey. Keivo made this known in a statement shared on his X page on Thursday, days after Big Brother disqualified him following his altercation with fellow housemate, Tram. βIβve had some time to reflect on everything that happened and I take full responsibility for my actions. My emotions took the best of me. Regardless of how strongly I felt, physical confrontation is never a solution to any situation. And I take full responsibility for my actions,β he wrote. Keivo was disqualified from the βShow Ya Sefβ season on Tuesday after a disagreement with Tram escalated into physical violence. Big Brother identified Keivo as the perpetrator and ordered his removal from the competition. Reflecting on his exit, Keivo said he would learn from the incident and work towards becoming better.See more Punch stories on Google.Add Punch on Google βI will learn, become better, and do my very best to make you proud of Keivo the Challenger, the Competitor, the man of many talents, the son of Grace, the VICTOR,β he wrote. The former housemate also thanked Big Brother and MultiChoice for giving him the opportunity to participate in the reality show. βBeing in the house, sharing my story, connecting with amazing people and showing myself, I will never take that for granted,β he said. He also appreciated his family, friends and supporters who prayed, voted and stood by him, particularly those who had hoped to see him become a finalist. βI came into Big Brotherβs house hoping Nigerians would see who I am. I leave knowing that millions of people did. Thank you for loving me at my best, and thank you for holding me accountable for my actions,β he wrote. Keivo, who had been in the running for the Season 11 grand prize before his disqualification, said he was seeking Godβs βmercy, wisdom, grace, and strengthβ as he begins what he described as a new chapter. βI trust that he has a purpose for every chapter, including this one. I will continue to trust him,β he wrote. He ended the statement by appreciating members of the Big Brother community and wishing Nigerians a happy Independence Day. Christabel Ndoeche
