IIT JAM 2027 form out: Check application deadline and exam date

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has started the registration process for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2027. Eligible candidates can now apply online through the official JAM website at jam.iitkgp.ac.in. The last day to register for JAM 2027 is October 12.

IIT JAM is conducted for admission to postgraduate programmes in science and related disciplines at IITs and other participating institutes. The JAM 2027 results are scheduled to be announced on March 18, 2027.

Candidates who have completed their undergraduate degree or are currently appearing in the final year of their undergraduate programme can apply, subject to the eligibility requirements of the programmes they seek admission to.

For candidates appearing for one test paper, the application fee is Rs 1,000 for female candidates and candidates belonging to the SC, ST and PwD categories. For other candidates, the fee is Rs 2,000.

For two test papers, the fee is Rs 1,350 for female candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories, while it is Rs 2,700 for other candidates.HOW TO APPLY FOR IIT JAM 2027

Candidates can complete the application process through the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS).

They will need to register on the portal, enter their personal and academic details, select examination cities and test papers, upload the required documents and pay the application fee.

The documents required include a Class 10 mark sheet showing the date of birth, a recent photograph, signature and applicable category or PwD certificates.
