Indiana high school football game ends in score better fit for baseball - USA Today

Two safeties and a game-winning field goal in overtime.

Yes, you read that correctly. It doesn't happen often that a high school football game amounts for seven total points and ends in a 5-2 result, but that was the case for two Indiana high school football teams.

Plymouth and Goshen, both located on the outskirts of South Bend, couldn't find the end zone. So, the two sides settled for two safeties in 48 minutes of regulation before a game-winning field goal from Goshen made things 5-2.

The walk-off three-run home run was from Trenton Clark, who got all of it from 25 yards out to deliver the win.

Last year's game was a stark contrast, as Plymouth won 44-7. The Pilgrims ultimately finished 4-7 that season, while Goshen finished 2-8. So far this season, Plymouth is 1-4 with a positive point differential, while the RedHawks are 2-3.
