Indonesia has said it is set to showcase a broad range of export-oriented products and services to global buyers at the 41st Trade Expo Indonesia, scheduled to be held in Jakarta, the country’s capital. According to the Indonesian Embassy in Abuja, the Trade Expo, which will kick off on October 14 and come to a close on October 18, 2026, will feature exhibitors drawn from key sectors, including food and beverages, agriculture, manufacturing, healthcare, fashion, industrial estates and furniture. The exhibitor list for the 2026 edition, sighted by our correspondent on Thursday, highlights companies and public-sector agencies spread across several exhibition halls, reflecting the diversity of Indonesia’s trade and manufacturing base. According to the Indonesian Minister Counsellor, Harryansah Khairul, the 2026 edition, which is the 41st Trade Expo Indonesia, is expected to be a major event, with Nigeria’s Minister of Trade and Investment invited to attend. Speaking with our correspondent, Khairul said, “The exhibition will be forty-one years. Last year was the fortieth, and this year the forty-first. It is organised by the Ministry of Trade in Indonesia. Nigeria’s Minister of Trade and Investment has been sent an invitation to attend, so we will be there to welcome her upon her arrival”. Giving a breakdown of activities planned ahead of the Expo, the envoy said Indonesia would also showcase its car-free day. “For the car-free day, we would go out to participate in the week before the Expo. There would be no cars on the roads; you come out in your sportswear,” he said. He added that visits to historical Indonesian museums would also form part of the activities, among others. Meanwhile, according to the List of Exhibitors for TEI 2026, sighted by PUNCH, the food and beverages category features 38 exhibitors offering beverage products, processed foods, cocoa products, coffee, tea and seafood. The agricultural products section has 70 listed exhibitors, covering agricultural products, spices, horticulture, coffee, palm oil, processed foods, livestock and seafood. The manufactured products and services section includes 29 exhibitors involved in automotive products, charcoal and briquettes, household goods, logistics, construction, chemicals, financial services and professional services. Among the exhibitors in the category are Astra Otoparts, Ahsan Charcoal Indonesia, the Association of Indonesian Electric Motorcycle Industries, Container Maritime Activities, Dextone Lemindo, Gateway Container Line, Kintetsu World Express Indonesia and Pupuk Indonesia. The health, beauty and personal care segment features pharmaceutical and wellness products, medical equipment and personal care products. Exhibitors listed in the segment include Aroma Prima Livindo, Amore Natura Persada, Cipta Sehat Utama, Dragon Prima Farma, Griff Prima Abadi and Priskila Prima Makmur. The industrial estates section features exhibitors and agencies offering industrial land and facilities, infrastructure and utilities, logistics and connectivity, as well as business support services. Fashion, handicrafts and home décor exhibitors will showcase products ranging from fashion and textiles to jewellery, accessories, batik, leather products, footwear and handicrafts. The list includes provincial and municipal trade agencies alongside private-sector exhibitors. The furniture and home décor section has 10 exhibitors offering living-room, bedroom, dining-room, office, outdoor, hospitality and commercial furniture, as well as home accessories and handicrafts.
