Injury update for Bills DT Ed Oliver - Bills Wire
The Buffalo Bills have an extra day to heal up ahead of facing the Los Angeles Rams (2-2) in Week 5.
After their 29-26 loss to the New England Patriots (2-2), the Bills are going to need it.
Once again, wide receiver DJ Moore (shoulder) is on the injury report and defensive tackle Ed Oliver is back there, too.
Buffalo head coach Joe Brady has remained his usual coy self since the game. He did not reveal information regarding players that were injured during the game.
Oliver (knee) went down after this play in the third quarter when a Patriots player hit him awkwardly on his knee. Then after the game, Oliver sported this noticeable limp as he walked off the field:
Oliver did not return action and his status moving forward seems questionable because of the nature of the injury. That is, until we are told different.
The Bills will begin preparations for the Rams on Thursday since the team has an extra day to get ready for the contest that will be played on "Monday Night Football" in Week 5.
While that means we have to be patient and wait longer to hear an update on Oliver, that does give the likes of him, Moore, and other injured players another day to prepare for their next outing.
