Innovation Centre inaugurated at Easwari Engineering College

An Innovation Centre to help foster innovation, research, entrepreneurship, and industry-oriented learning was inaugurated at Easwari Engineering College, Ramapuram on Friday by Higher Education Minister P. Viswanathan.
Several specialised laboratories and pre-incubation centres were subsequently inaugurated at the Centre. It is supported by an ecosystem of centres of excellence associated with leading technology companies, according to a press release. The SRM Easwari Innovation Centre received a contribution of ₹1.5 crore from the SRM Easwari Alumni Association towards construction of the building.
Present on the occasion were R. Shivakumar, Chairman, SRM Group of Institutions, Chennai, Ramapuram, and Trichy; Geetha Shivakumar, Vice-Chairperson; S. Niranjan, Co-Chairman; and P. Deiva Sundari, Principal, Easwari Engineering College.
