Inside Jyotika-Suriya's 20th anniversary: Vows at church, celebrations on yacht

Jyotika and Suriya marked 20 years of marriage with an intimate vow renewal ceremony at a church, followed by a celebration aboard a yacht with their children, family and close friends. The couple, who recently celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary, have now shared a series of dreamy pictures from the special day.

Dressed in white for the church ceremony, Jyotika looked drop-dead gorgeous with minimal accessories. The couple's children, Diya and Dev, took on a special role in the ceremony, walking their parents down the aisle as they renewed their wedding vows two decades after they first got married.

The ceremony was attended by several members of their families and their closest friends. Suriya's brother, actor Karthi, was present with his wife Ranjani, while members of Jyotika's family, including her sister and brother and their respective partners, also joined the celebrations. The gathering made the occasion a close-knit family affair rather than a large-scale anniversary event.

Jyotika looked radiant in a white bridal gown, while Suriya opted for a white tuxedo. Surrounded by their loved ones, the couple exchanged vows centred on family, love, health, their children and relationships. One of the most intimate moments saw the couple embrace in a warm hug after the ceremony.

The celebrations then moved from the church to a yacht, where Jyotika and Suriya changed into another set of elegant outfits and spent time with their family and friends. The pictures offer glimpses of the couple enjoying the milestone in a more relaxed setting, with the yacht providing a picturesque backdrop to their anniversary celebrations.

Jyotika and Suriya got married on September 11, 2006, in Chennai, after meeting and falling in love while working together in films.
