Is Puka Nacua playing vs. Eagles? Latest update from Sean McVay - Rams Wire
Injuries will leave the Los Angeles Rams shorthanded against the Philadelphia Eagles, but there is some good news on that front. Puka Nacua, who has missed the last two games due to a hip/groin injury, will return and suit up on Sunday, Sean McVay says.
Nacua will not have an injury designation for this game, meaning he's good to go. He practiced all week, which was his first time practicing since injuring his hip leading up to the Rams' Week 2 game against the Giants. The Rams are still working through his snap count for his return, though, so it's possible he won't play his usual share of snaps.
With Nacua out, Davante Adams and Konata Mumpfield both stepped up. They combined for three touchdowns in the last two games, with Adams posting back-to-back 100-yard games. That's not to say the Rams didn't miss Nacua, though.
He led the NFL in receptions and receiving yards per game last season and is the engine on offense.
Now that Nacua is back, the Rams can get back to their 11 personnel offense with three receivers, something they had to steer away from the last two weeks without Nacua. That's even more important now with Terrance Ferguson out and Colby Parkinson also banged up.
