Officials of the Directorate of Intelligence and Criminal Investigation, A.P. and Telangana, Hyderabad, in association with Assistant Director of Income Tax (I&CI), Vijayawada, organised an awareness programme on the filing of Statements of Financial Transactions (SFTs), here on Tuesday.

Assistant Director, Income Tax, R. Shiva Kumar, explained about the latest provisions under the Income Tax Act, 2025, and the procedure for filing direct-free SFTs. Income Tax inspectors N. Madhusudhana Rao and B. Shyam Sundar elucidated on filing SFTs accurately without errors.

District registrars and sub-registrars of NTR and Krishna districts, IT officials and staff participated.
