YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will review the drought and water scarcity situation in Andhra Pradesh with senior party leaders through a video conference from the party’s central office at Tadepalli on Thursday (September 17, 2026). The meeting will focus on the prevailing drought conditions, deficient rainfall and water scarcity reported from different parts of the State. Mr. Jagan will seek a district-wise assessment of the situation.
The problems being faced by the farming community at the grassroots level will also be reviewed. The meeting is expected to discuss measures and party programmes to extend support to farmers affected by the prevailing distress.
