The accused, identified as Rahul Jha, allegedly killed his wife Geeta Jha and their three daughters by repeatedly striking their heads and faces with a stone. When police reached the house, they found Geeta Jha's body in a room on the first floor. The bodies of the couple's daughters, 23-year-old Nandini, 18-year-old Radhika and a 14-year-old, were found in two separate rooms on the ground floor.

Police recovered the stone used in the murders. The victims are suspected to have been attacked while they were in a deep sleep.ACCUSED SERVED TEA TO FATHER

What happened after the alleged murders has shocked investigators.

Rahul Jha continued to behave normally after the killings. At around 7 am, he collected milk from the milkman and later prepared tea for his elderly father, Lakshminath. He served the tea to his father with his own hands before leaving the house and fleeing.

Rahul Jha was involved in share trading and had returned to Jaipur from Gujarat just a few days before the incident.

His wife, Geeta Jha, ran a boutique on the first floor of their house. Their eldest daughter, Nandini, had a private job alongside her studies.

Police have also learnt that Rahul had borrowed Rs 25,000 from a neighbour just three days before the murders. Investigators are examining several possible angles, including financial distress and family disputes.
