Jennifer Lawrence has described the time she took a firm stance after unauthorised crew members appeared on set during a nude scene.
The 36-year-old actor emphasised that being "malleable" is "part of the job", citing her dramatic hair transformation for 2025βs psychological drama Die My Love, but noted there are moments to put her foot down to protect herself and others across the film industry.
She told the Call Her Daddy podcast: "There was an instance on set where crew members who were not approved when I was doing nudity were on set.
"I came down hard on it, purely because if we are not setting that principle, then what on earth is going to happen to an 18-year-old unknown when she shows up and thereβs people on set who are not approved [to be there]?
"Sheβs going to be in a position of: βDo I say something and get a reputation for being difficult, or do I let these people that Iβm not comfortable seeing me naked see me naked?β
"It was important to me to explain that to the people why that was not okay."
Lawrence previously mentioned wanting to grant director Lynne Ramsay, 56, "total freedom artistically" for Die My Love.
Speaking to Vulture, she said: "I don't care about nudity. I'm not sensitive about it. I wanted Lynne to have total freedom artistically."
She noted that "being pregnant" with her second child while filming took much of her "vanity anxiety away".
She added: "What was I gonna do? Like, not eat? I was working 15 hours a day. I was just tired.
"I remember them sending over a close-up of, like, cellulite being like, 'Do you want us to touch this up?' And I was like, "No. That's an ass.'"
Meanwhile, Lawrence disclosed her beauty goals in a cover interview with The Cut.
Regarding her personal beauty targets, Lawrence admitted: "I want to be a sexy mom."
She added: "At drop-off, I want to look like a woman that has her s*** together even when Iβve just woken up and donβt have my s*** together."
The mother of two has previously opened up about cosmetic procedures and physical changes following motherhood.
These remarks follow a conversation with The New Yorker last October, where she admitted considering breast surgery following her second child's arrival.
She said: "Everything bounced back, pretty much, after the first one. Second one, nothing bounced back."
She has since confirmed having a breast lift and considering a future facelift, having previously discussed using subtle amounts of Botox, which she termed "baby Botox" in Vogue.
