JioHome users can get 1 year of Amazon Prime Lite for free: Check eligibility

As part of Jio’s tenth anniversary, the company is offering one year of Amazon Prime Lite at no additional cost to eligible JioHome users. The benefit is available on select JioHome plans that combine TV, OTT subscriptions and Wi-Fi, giving customers access to Prime Video along with shopping benefits on Amazon.

The offer covers JioHome plans with 30Mbps and 100Mbps internet speeds. Amazon Prime Lite includes access to Prime Video and free, fast delivery on eligible Amazon purchases. The rollout begins on September 19 and will take place in phases over two weeks. The free subscription period will begin once the customer activates the benefit.

However, customers on the Rs 888 and Rs 1,199 JioHome plans, along with those using plans offering 150Mbps or higher speeds, will continue to receive their existing 24-month Amazon Prime Lite benefit. These customers will retain the longer subscription offer instead of switching to the new 12-month benefit.

In recent news, Jio also partnered with Canva, the design platform, to provide eligible customers with premium digital tools, including up to 12 months of Canva Pro or Canva Pro Lite. Jio users who recharge the Rs 399 plan will get access to Canva Pro, while those on the Rs 349 plan and on eligible plans offering 2GB of daily data above Rs 349 will receive Canva Pro Lite. According to Jio, the offer is worth up to Rs 4000. Claiming the offer is simple. Eligible users can head to the MyJio app, look for the Canva offer and activate it. The subscription is available at no extra cost, with no hidden charges.

Canva Pro offers users a wide range of premium design resources, including millions of templates, photos, videos and fonts. It also comes with handy editing tools like Background Remover and Magic Eraser, as well as AI-powered features that let users create designs through chat-based prompts.
