Jonathan Taylor to Broncos trade rumors are heating up - Broncos Wire

The Jonathan Taylor trade rumors linking him to the Denver Broncos aren't going away.

Even before the Broncos moved into first place in the AFC West with a 28-24 win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, former quarterback and current CBS pundit Russell Wilson floated Taylor landing in Denver — soon.

"I wouldn't be surprised by the time this game's over tonight, on CBS, JT is going to be a Denver Bronco," Wilson said on The NFL Today this morning.

Following that prediction from Wilson, CBS commentators Jim Nantz and JJ Watt also hinted at the possibility of Denver making a move for Taylor during Sunday's broadcast.

Then, following the game, DNVR's Zac Stevens said Broncos fans might not want to go to sleep tonight.

"The Broncos are going to try to pull this off trade off," Stevens reported. "From my understanding, talking to people, they want Jonathan Taylor. They know that this is not the time to wait and develop guys and see (what they have). They want Jonathan Taylor now."

The NFL's trade deadline is Nov. 10, but if Taylor's going to be traded, it will likely happen before Week 9 games. If an acquiring team wants Taylor to arrive in time for Wednesday's practice, a Monday or Tuesday trade could be on the way. Stay tuned.
