Kannur Dussehra to conclude with 500-drone spectacle

The Kannur Corporation will organise a mega drone show featuring over 500 drones as the highlight of the concluding day of the Kannur Dussehra, which will be held at the Kannur Collectorate ground from October 12 to 21.

According to the Corporation, it is the first time that a civic body in Keralam is organising a drone show of this scale as part of a festival.

The approximately 15-minute show will feature illuminated formations depicting Keralam’s major art and cultural traditions, including Theyyam and Kathakali, as well as the iconic landmarks of Kannur such as the Kannur Lighthouse and St. Angelo Fort.

A specialised team from abroad will help execute the show. The estimated cost of the event is around ₹20 lakh.
