Karnataka man rides with 5 children packed into metal basket, one seated in front
A video of a man in Karnataka riding a two-wheeler with five children packed into a metal basket-like structure attached to the rear of the vehicle has sparked outrage on social media.
Sanatan Kannada, an X account that shared the video, claimed that the video was recorded on the Mysuru-Nanjangud Road in Karnataka.
In the clip, the man was seen riding a bike with the children seated in the makeshift enclosure. Another child was seated in front of the rider, who was wearing a helmet. However, none of the children wore any sort of protective gear.

The footage triggered outrage among social media users, with several questioning the safety of transporting multiple children on a two-wheeler in this manner.
“The vehicle is intended to carry only one driver and one pillion rider. This is not just shameful but also a clear violation of traffic and vehicle rules,” one user commented.
Another user said that such an arrangement should not be allowed, pointing out that highways are already unsafe for children and that there is little lane discipline on the roads.
“It's so dangerous,” a user wrote, while another said, “He is playing with their lives.”
