TPCC general secretary and spokesperson Chanagani Dayakar alleged that the BRS regime had indulged in illegal acquisition and misuse of land and demanded that BRS leaders cooperate with the government’s inquiries into the landholdings of former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, his family members and relatives.

Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhawan on Sunday, Mr. Dayakar alleged that BRS president KCR had violated land ceiling laws and BRS leaders K.T. Rama Rao, T. Harish Rao, J. Santosh Rao and K. Kavitha had competed with each other to acquire illegal land. He urged the BRS leaders to provide complete details of their landholdings to the Revenue authorities.

Mr. Dayakar alleged that BRS was attempting to undermine the government over the Section 22-A issue, claiming that the prohibited list included land allegedly held by BRS leaders too.
