Kerala driver struggles to free car stuck on railway track, abandons it as train nears
A driver in Kerala found herself in a frightening situation after her car got stuck on a railway track, forcing her to abandon the vehicle as a train approached.
X user The Er Doctor shared the video, which showed the car stranded at the railway crossing as the driver appeared to make several attempts to get it moving again.
In the video, the woman driving the car was seen repeatedly accelerating the car in an attempt to free it from the tracks. However, the continued attempts caused smoke to start rising from the wheels, leaving the vehicle firmly stuck in place.
The situation took a more serious turn when the sound of an approaching train could be heard. The woman and the passengers immediately got out of the car and left the vehicle behind on the railway track.
According to the caption of the post accompanying the video, the women had attempted to cross the railway crossing while the boom gate was coming down and ended up getting the car stuck.
The incident caused a 30-minute delay to the train before police arrived and removed the vehicle.
