Kinnow growers seek better prices
The Kinnow Growers Association held a meeting to discuss measures to ensure reasonable prices for the growers, opening borders and steps to make export of the fruit more beneficial.
The association's convener Barrister Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha said efforts were being made to ensure a reasonable price for growers ahead of the kinnow season so that they could get better returns for their produce.
He said work was also under way to develop an effective and practical mechanism for kinnow exports, adding that consultations with relevant departments and officials were continuing.
