And just like that, another Friday is here, which means it’s time to catch up on everything new in the gadget world. This week’s gadget list is stacked. We have Dyson bringing its most powerful cordless vacuum yet, Nikon launching a new full-frame camera, and Sennheiser refreshing its premium Momentum lineup. And there’s more, with boAt bringing Google Gemini to your ears, Eureka Forbes launching robot vacuums that can handle much of the cleaning on their own, and a kids’ smartwatch that doubles up as an AI learning companion.

The season of deep cleaning is almost here, and with the festivals around the corner, there’s no escaping that annual cleaning marathon. Dyson, however, wants to make the job a little easier with its new V16 Piston Animal cordless vacuum. It comes with a new 900W Hyperdymium motor that delivers 315AW of suction, while the All Floor Cones Sense cleaner head can automatically adjust suction and brush speed depending on the floor type. The conical brush bars are also designed to prevent long hair from getting tangled.

And there’s more to it than just powerful suction. Dyson is also boasting about a CleanCompaktor bin in the V16 Piston Animal that compresses dust and debris to hold up to three times more, along with LED illumination to reveal dust that’s easy to miss. Dyson also claims up to 70 minutes of fade-free suction, while the five-stage HEPA filtration system and MyDyson app add a few more smart touches. So, if you’re planning a serious Diwali deep clean and want to upgrade your vacuum in the process, the Dyson V16 Piston Animal is priced at Rs 79,900 and is available through Dyson’s website and stores across India.

Now for all the photography fans – and anyone looking to capture those festive OOTD shots — Nikon has added a new full-frame option with the Z5IIC. The camera is designed to make full-frame photography a little more approachable, with 15 scene modes that automatically adjust settings based on what you’re shooting. It also gets AI-powered autofocus, 5-axis in-body vibration reduction with up to 7.5 stops of compensation and a 3.2-inch vari-angle touchscreen.

For video creators, the Z5IIC can record 4K UHD at up to 60fps and Full HD at up to 120fps. It also gets a Product Review Mode, webcam functionality and support for N-Log and 10-bit H.265 recording.

In India the new Nikon Z5IIC is priced at Rs 1,39,995 for the body and will be available across Nikon outlets in India from mid-October.Sennheiser Momentum 5 series

This week, we also have a serious audio upgrade in the mix. Sennheiser has refreshed its premium Momentum lineup with two new products: the MOMENTUM 5 Wireless headphones and MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 earbuds. The over-ear headphones come with 42mm drivers, Dolby Atmos spatial tracking, lossless audio support, an eight-microphone hybrid ANC system and up to 57 hours of battery life. The True Wireless 5 earbuds, meanwhile, support 24-bit/96kHz high-resolution audio, Dolby Atmos 3D sound, adaptive hybrid ANC and Bluetooth 6.0. Both products also get user-replaceable batteries.

As for the pricing in India, the Momentum 5 Wireless is priced at Rs 39,990, while the Momentum True Wireless 5 costs Rs 29,990.Boat Airdopes Prime 800 D

We have another audio launch this week, and this one brings a little more than just music to the table. boAt has introduced the Airdopes Prime 800 D, a pair of true wireless earbuds with 11mm dynamic drivers, Dolby Audio, Multipoint Connectivity and up to 45 hours of total playback. The earbuds also feature four microphones with AI-ENx technology for calls, along with Bluetooth 6.1 and an IPX5 rating for water resistance.

The Airdopes Prime 800 D also comes with Boat’s new CREST AI platform, built with Google Gemini. This new AI feature adds voice-based features such as asking questions, accessing supported Google services and real-time translation.
