LGE 2026: Nasiphi Moya reflects on Tshwane coalition successes as ActionSA makes electoral gains - EWN

Outgoing Tshwane mayor Nasiphi Moya believes her two-year tenure has helped strengthen public trust in ActionSA.

With 81% of votes counted, ActionSA has secured 4.92 percent of the national vote, making significant gains in several areas.

In Tshwane, the party has garnered more than 300,000 votes, translating into 14 seats so far.

Speaking to reporters at the National Results Operations Centre, Moya said she believes her two years at the helm of the city have been successful.

"It was not easy. I won’t lie and say it was easy. I always tell people that in the city, there is a dining room where every Tuesday we would meet. Things happened. Things were said. But when we left the room, we would have put the people of Tshwane ahead of our own political interests."
