The red carpet is ready, the stars have started to arrive and television’s biggest night is officially underway. The 78th Primetime Emmy Awards are bringing Hollywood’s biggest names together in Los Angeles, with plenty of history, big wins and surprise moments expected through the night.

Three-time Emmy winner Julia Garner and Florence Pugh presented the award to Rhea Seehorn for Lead Actress in Drama Series. She won the award for her role in Pluribus.
Allison Janney won the Outstanding Supporting Actress in Drama Series award for her role in The Diplomat.
Matthew Rhys won Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie. He bagged the award for The Beast in Me.
Jean Smart won her eighth Emmy win. She won Best Lead Actress - Comedy for her performance as Deborah Vance as Hacks.
Zendaya presented the award for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
Amy Poehler presented the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in her own style. And the Emmy goes to Kate O'Flynn for Widow's Bay.

In the US, the main ceremony will begin at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT and will be broadcast live on NBC. It will also stream on Peacock, NBCUniversal's streaming platform.
For viewers in India, the ceremony will take place in the early hours of Tuesday, September 15. The red carpet coverage begins at 4.30 am IST, followed by the main awards ceremony at 5.30 am IST.
