#Love: Aishwarya Lekshmi, Arjun Das's romantic drama to premiere in October

Netflix is set to bring a new romantic comedy to its streaming lineup with #Love, a Tamil series starring Aishwarya Lekshmi and Arjun Das. The series, which explores love, dating and the complications of finding a connection in the digital age, will premiere on October 2.

#Love follows Tara and Matthew, two single and rival dating-app founders who have built successful businesses helping others find love, even as their own romantic lives remain unresolved. Their professional rivalry takes a personal turn when Tara makes Matthew an offer he cannot refuse. What begins as a bet soon becomes an unexpected leap of faith, forcing the two to confront a question neither of their algorithms can answer: can love really be figured out?

Showrun and produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth, the series is directed by filmmaker Balaji Mohan. Love takes a contemporary look at relationships while also exploring friendship, family, ambition and the uncertainty of figuring out what one wants from life.

The series marks a fresh collaboration between Balaji Mohan and Soundarya Rajinikanth, with Netflix backing the project. Love is written by Nirmal Williams, with Sharada Subramanian and Shweta Chakravarty serving as co-writers. It is produced by May6 Entertainment Factory.
