Madlanga Inquiry: Joe 'Ferrari' Sibanyoni wraps testimony ahead of cross-examination - EWN

Mpumalanga taxi boss Joe Sibanyoni has concluded his testimony before the Madlanga Commission on Monday and will return for cross-examination at a later date.

During proceedings, Sibanyoni read a supplementary affidavit where he responded to further allegations presented to him by the commission.

This includes WhatsApp messages between him and now-suspended police officer Fannie Nkosi, which Sibanyoni defended as a social relationship.

Sibanyoni clarified that while he remains at the helm of the taxi industry, he did not take over the alleged cartel operations of his late former business partner - and taxi mogul - Jothan Msibi.
