Mainland welcomes Taiwan companies to share Pinglu Canal opportunities

Taiwan businesspeople and enterprises are welcomed to share the opportunities presented by Pinglu Canal, a new river-to-sea canal in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Zhu Fenglian, spokesperson for the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office, said on Wednesday.

Through river-sea intermodal transport, Pinglu Canal can effectively reduce import and export logistics costs and create new opportunities for Taiwan-invested enterprises to expand into ASEAN markets, Zhu added.
