Malacañang has released a proclamation revealing the list of regular and special non-working holidays in the country for the year 2027.

Malacañang has released a proclamation revealing the list of regular and special non-working holidays in the country for the year 2027.

The list of regular holidays provided under Proclamation No. 1427 are the following:

The commemoration of the EDSA People Power Revolution, which is on February 25, Thursday, was declared as a special working day.

The proclamations declaring national holidays for the observance of Eid'l Fitr and Eid'l Adha shall be issued after the approximate dates of the Islamic holidays have been determined in accordance with the Islamic calendar or the lunar calendar, or upon Islamic astronomical calculations.

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) shall also promulgate the implementing guidelines for the proclamation.

The proclamation was signed by Executive Secretary Ralph Recto on September 8, 2026, by the order of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. —AOL, GMA News
